Why Reviews Are Important

Reviews are more than just opinions — they’re a lifeline for authors. They help new readers discover books, boost visibility on retailer sites, and show others that a story is worth their time.
For indie authors especially, every review — whether it’s one sentence or a detailed breakdown — makes a difference. It’s not about glowing praise; honest feedback helps both readers and authors.
For me, every review feels like a little cheer of encouragement. They help my books reach more romance readers, keep them visible among thousands of titles, and remind me that my stories are connecting with people.
A lot of authors don't read reviews because reviews are for readers not authors. I like to read mine. They often make me smile.
If you enjoyed one of my books, leaving a review is one of the easiest — and most appreciated — ways to support my writing.
