ABOUT CYNTHIA

Cynthia Terelst is an Australian romance author based in sunny Queensland. She writes slow burn, feel-good romance that captivates readers and leaves them wanting more. Her stories are filled with heat, heart and hope. It's the type of romance she loves to read.

She enjoyed writing as a child and teenager, but put writing aside as she experienced the adventure of life and motherhood. Recently, her love of writing was reignited thanks to a close friend and fellow writer who continues to supoort her in her writing journey by listening to wild plot twists and cheering her on every step of the way.

 

Cynthia’s stories don’t shy away from emotional depth or difficult topics. Whether she’s writing contemporary romance or young adult fiction, her books explore love, growth, and the courage it takes to heal.

 

While she firmly denies being a crazy cat lady, she has fostered many felines over the years. (At one point, there were seven cats in the house—but five were fosters, so it doesn’t count! It was all in the aid of saving lives.) These days, she shares her home with two beloved cats: a seventeen-year-old elder and a mischievous ginger grandkitten who occasionally strolls across her keyboard.

When she’s not writing, Cynthia enjoys travelling, reading romance, spending time with her daughter and horses, and collecting ideas from everyday life—especially anything that might inspire her next swoony, emotionally rich story. Even the geese that recently attacked her will make it into a book someday.
